Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What is Twiqet?

Twiqet is a powerful Discord ticket bot designed to help server administrators manage support requests efficiently. It provides a clean, easy-to-use ticketing system that creates private channels for each ticket, allowing organized and professional customer support.

How do I invite Twiqet to my server?

You can invite Twiqet by clicking the "Invite" button on our homepage or in the footer. You'll need "Administrator" or "Manage Server" permissions to add the bot. The bot requires administrator permissions to function properly.

Is Twiqet free to use?

Yes! Twiqet offers a free tier with core ticketing features. However, we also offer Premium subscriptions that unlock advanced features like ticket history, detailed statistics, and priority support. Check out our Premium page for more information.

What permissions does Twiqet need?

Twiqet requires Administrator permissions to create channels, manage roles, send messages, and perform other essential ticket management functions. These permissions are necessary for the bot to operate correctly.

Ticket Management

How do I create a ticket?

Tickets are created through ticket panels. Server administrators can set up panels using the `/panel` command. Once a panel is created, users can click a button in the panel message to open a new ticket.

How do I close a ticket?

Tickets can be closed using the `/close` command in the ticket channel, or by clicking a close button if one is configured. Only ticket creators, staff members, or users with appropriate permissions can close tickets.

Can I claim a ticket?

Yes! Staff members can use the `/claim` command to claim a ticket, indicating they are handling it. This helps organize support and prevents multiple staff members from working on the same ticket. You can unclaim a ticket using `/unclaim`.

What are ticket categories?

Categories allow you to organize tickets by type (e.g., Support, Sales, Bug Reports). Each category can have different settings, staff roles, and channels. You can manage categories through the dashboard or using bot commands.

Dashboard & Configuration

How do I access the dashboard?

You can access the dashboard by clicking the "Dashboard" button on our homepage or navigating to the dashboard page. You'll need to log in with Discord and have the bot in at least one of your servers with proper permissions.

What can I configure in the dashboard?

The dashboard allows you to manage ticket panels, categories, server settings, and view statistics (Premium feature). You can configure ticket channels, staff roles, auto-close settings, and more.

I can't see my server in the dashboard. Why?

If you can't see your server, make sure you have "Administrator" or "Manage Server" permissions in that server, and that the bot has been invited to the server. Only servers where you have these permissions will appear in your dashboard.

Premium

How does premium work?

Premium is purchased through Discord's subscription system. Once purchased, your server will automatically have access to all premium features. Premium is tied to specific Discord servers and cannot be transferred between servers.

What features are included in Premium?

Premium features include access to ticket history, detailed statistics and analytics, advanced configuration options, and priority support. Check out our Premium page for a complete list of features.

When will premium activate?

Premium status is automatically updated after purchase via webhook. It may take a few moments to reflect in the dashboard. You can refresh the status manually if needed.

Can I cancel premium anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your premium subscription at any time through Discord's subscription management. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Can I buy premium without opening the dashboard?

Yes! You can purchase premium directly through Discord, and it will automatically activate even if you don't have the dashboard open. The webhook system handles this automatically.

Troubleshooting

The bot isn't responding to commands. What should I do?

First, check if the bot is online and has proper permissions in your server. Make sure you're using the correct command syntax. If issues persist, try kicking and re-inviting the bot with administrator permissions.

Tickets aren't being created. Why?

Ensure the bot has permission to create channels in the category where tickets should be created. Check that ticket panels are properly configured and that the bot has the necessary permissions. Also verify that the panel message hasn't been deleted.

I'm getting permission errors. How do I fix this?

Make sure the bot has Administrator permissions or at least the following permissions: Manage Channels, Manage Roles, Send Messages, Embed Links, Read Message History, and Use External Emojis. The bot role should be placed above any roles it needs to manage.
